Students will have the opportunity to learn about different careers and also interact with the panelists in an intimate setting. About ELP and its students: The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) began in the fall of 2006 and has since served over 150 students. ELP is a leadership development program that prepares Latino high school students for college through workshops that include university campus visits, field trips, and interaction with young, professional mentors. Students also have the opportunity to apply for an ELP scholarship at successful completion of the program. ELP runs for 10 sessions three times a year, in the Fall, Spring and Summer and is free and open to all Latino high school students. | ||
